Molly-Mae Hague is alleged to have hired extra security to secure her massive engagement diamond, fearing theft.
The former Love Islander, 24, and her boxing fiancé Tommy Fury, also 24, revealed their engagement plans in July with an endearing video on social media.
The celebrity pair, who open up about their personal lives on social media, shared photos of her beautiful ring on their Instagram accounts, giving admirers a good look at the brilliant gold.
The former reality stars are said to be afraid of becoming targets for an assault since a ‘experienced gang’ wrecked their Manchester flat in 2021, resulting in an £800k burglary.
Since receiving the engagement ring, which is said to be worth £600,000, she has re-hired security to ensure their safety, according to The Sun.
‘Molly has been very conscious of displaying too much riches after their 2021 break in,’ a source told the newspaper.
‘She’s had security in the past and is getting it again, especially now she always has daughter Bambi with her.
‘Molly has seen what happened to Kim Kardashian in Paris and she recently doesn’t want to end up in a similar situation.
‘She loves sharing her life with her fans, but just knows she has to be careful.’
The pair met on the fifth season of Love Island and welcomed their first child, daughter Bambi, in January.
In a video posted on Molly-Mae’s Instagram and set to The Vow by Irish singer RuthAnne Cunningham, the star is shown arriving at a hilly seaside setting where she encounters Tommy, who is holding their daughter Bambi.
The influencer, who was visibly moved, picked up her child as Tommy dropped down on one knee to propose.
The professional boxer and the stylish YouTuber then hugged and smiled at each other.
The rock face was covered with white flowers in the clip in which Tommy wore a black suit and white shirt and Molly-Mae wore a white jumpsuit.
Molly-Mae captioned the post saying ‘Forever. 23/07/23’ along with emojis of a ring and a crying face.
