Olly Murs and his wife Amelia Murs are expecting their first child.
On Thursday evening, The Voice coach, 39, and fitness model Amelia, 30, turned to Instagram to announce the news.
The couple, who married earlier this year, announced the impending arrival of their child with a charming Instagram photo.
Amelia is smiling against a wall in the shot, with Olly standing next to her, pointing to her increasing belly and holding an ultrasound.
He captioned the post: ‘Baby Murs due 2024.’
The couple’s announcement has already been flooded with messages of support from well-wishers.
Emma Willis wrote: ‘Oh Olly!!! I’m so so happy for you both. Sending you all lots of love.’
Strictly Come Dancing pro Dianne Buswell commented: ‘Congrats guys.’
Davina McCall wrote ‘yayyyyy’ with a series of love hearts, while Ronan Keating shared a clapping hands emoji.
Not missing their chance to weigh in, Jedward also simply commented: ‘Call it Jedward.’
In 2019, the pair met on social media for the first time.
They made their relationship public in 2020, and Olly proposed in December 2022 in an intimate cliff-top occasion.
In July this year they held a fun-filled wedding bash on Essex’s Osea Island which has apparently been dubbed ‘Murs fest and featured festival stages and fairground rides.
Before meeting Amelia, the singer admitted to being a “commitment phobe,” but he immediately realised she was the right lady for him.
He previously told The Joe Wicks Podcast: ‘I did that typical man thing and went, “I can’t commit, I’m not ready”. I called it off, and then I rekindled the relationship on tour.
‘I’m so happy I did. When you know, you know.
