Sharon Osbourne has revealed details about Ozzy Osbourne’s endearing bond with his grandchild.
Kelly Osbourne, 38, delivered baby Sidney in November with Slipknot guitarist Sid Wilson after sharing her pregnancy news last May.
Kelly and Sid have kept Sidney mainly out of the spotlight since he was born, although they have released a few adorable photos of him.
Now, grandma Sharon, 70, has warmed hearts with the cutest photo of husband Ozzy, 74, spending quality time with the child.
The former X Factor judge shared a photo of Ozzy and Sidney cuddling up beneath a duvet while watching something on an iPad on Instagram.
As he placed his arm around the tot, Ozzy made a teasing grin.
Sharon’s caption read: ‘Two [pea emoji] In A Pod’.
Her 1.2 million followers swarmed to the comments section to express their delight at the photo, especially at seeing Ozzy in such good spirits despite his health issues.
‘So sweet, I hope Ozzy is doing well and feeling better. ❤️’, one person wrote.
Another echoed: ‘So great to see Ozzy !!!! He sure looks happy!!!!!’
‘Omg the Prince and Princeling of Darkness… adore this pic 😍😍’, another commented.
‘Such a cute picture! Ozzy looks well. Hope he’s doing OK and the rest of the family. X’, another individual said.
Ozzy Osbourne provided an update on his health in July, claiming that he was ‘battling through’ his health problems following surgery to remove a filter from his artery.
The Black Sabbath leader has a rare type of Parkinson’s disease and had a ‘life-altering’ operation last year to remove and realign a number of pins in his neck and back caused by a quad riding accident in 2003.
He stated that he was eager to “get on with [his] life,” but he has since had another surgical treatment.
‘I’m struggling through, like for example, last Monday I went to get a filter removed,’ he stated on his Ozzy Speaks SiriusXM channel.
‘When I had the blood clots in my legs, they put a filter in your artery to stop the blood clots going to your heart and your brain. It sounds worse than it is. So on Monday, I went to have it removed.’
A sombre Ozzy added that it felt like ‘disappointment after disappointment’ for him, as he’s in ‘constant pain.’
The Paranoid hitmaker added: ‘I feel like a one-legged man in a butt-kicking contest.
‘The only thing I’ve got that keeps me going is making records. But I can’t do that forever. I gotta get out there.
‘I’m still in constant pain. I do the best I can to stay away from the pain medication.’
