On Father’s Day, Paris Jackson celebrated by releasing a rare photo of herself, her late father Michael Jackson, and her two siblings, Prince and Bigi (previously known as Blanket).
The singer died in 2009 at the age of 50 after a cardiac arrest caused by a propofol overdose. He had two daughters with his second wife, Debbie Rowe, and Bigi was born via surrogacy.
Paris, 25, simply captioned her adorable snap, ‘Happy Father’s Day,’ and was seen licking a spoon in what seemed to be the Jackson family kitchen.
Michael held Bigi, now 21, in his arms and smiled from ear to ear as the family baking session continued, while Prince, now 26, grinned as he stared at the camera.
While Michael Jackson’s children like to keep their connection with their father private, they did celebrate what would have been his 64th birthday last year by releasing flashback images of the Jackson 5 singer.
Model and musician Paris simply captioned a photo of herself and her dad: ‘hbd,’ but her older brother penned, ‘Happy birthday to the greatest! Miss you more and more but I love you more and more with each day.’
‘Thank you for everything,’ Prince said.
Meanwhile, Bigi maintains his personal life private and does not have any public social media presence.
At the 2022 Tony Awards, Paris and Prince talked movingly about their late father as they presented a performance by the cast of MJ: The Musical, a stage musical based on their father’s life.
Bigi even made a rare public appearance with his elder brother and sister on Broadway for the show’s opening night.
Christopher Wheeldon’s musical, which features over 25 of Michael’s best singles, follows Michael as he prepares to go on his Dangerous world tour in 1992 and 1993.
