During his trip to Australia to see his mother and father, who are both experiencing a decline in their health, Peter Andre posted a gallery of heartwarming family images on his Instagram account.
The 39-year-old father brought his wife Emily and children Junior, 17, and Princess, 15, who he shares with ex-girlfriend Katie Price, down under, and he uploaded pictures of the group with his mother to Instagram. Junior and Princess are his children from a previous relationship with model Katie Price.
While he was getting ready to go on the lengthy trip back to his homeland, he opened up to his supporters about his concerns regarding the well-being of his mother Thea, who is 86 years old, and his father Savvas, who is 79.
In one of the photographs, Thea can be seen beaming next to her son and her grandson’s wife as they enjoy a bite to eat, and in another of the slides, Princess can be seen standing with her father, who is a musician.
He continued to keep his 1.8 million followers up to date on his everyday activities while he was on his trip to Australia and captioned the gallery “Making memories.”
After voicing his concerns for his ageing parents and revealing that he wished to attempt to visit them more frequently as they become older, the celebrity initiated the family get-together in order to make up for lost time.

Peter went to Australia when he was six years old and made the trip back in the hopes of being able to spend more time with his wife and their children, Thea and Savvas.
The songwriter behind the hit “Mysterious Girl” revealed that Christmas was a “anxious” time for his family since his parents were concerned about their health.
‘For me, it’s about seeing my mum and dad and the kids and Emily seeing them. That’s what it’s about, they’re getting very old now and it’s always an anxious time of year,’ the celebrity told MailOnline.
‘I went to Australia earlier this year, I’m glad to be spending more time there because of my mum now. So, I try and go 3 or 4 times of year if I can now.’

This wasn’t the first time the father-of-four expressed his worries over the distance between himself and his ageing parents.
Last Septemebr he wrote candidly about his feelings in his new! magazine column: ‘My parents celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary last week. 67 years! It’s pretty amazing.
‘Dad’s going to be 90 next year and mum’s 86.
‘Mum’s struggling at the moment, though. She’s not doing great. She’s suffering a bit and declining. It’s sad when they’ve been together so long that age is getting on top of them.
‘I was with her a few months ago. We’ve just got to be with her as much as possible. It’s just age. She’s got all sorts of things going on now.’
