Hayley Hughes, a former Love Island star, was mercilessly mum-shamed by a troll after openly exhibiting her pregnancy in a lovely lace gown at her baby shower.
The 26-year-old is having her first child with an unidentified mystery partner, and she shared some adorable photos from her baby shower.
Hayley announced over a month ago that she was expecting a baby boy, whom she has dubbed ‘Baby Bear,’ and has described as her “dream boy.”
Hayley donned a beautiful blouse with sheer, draped material and a matching skirt to the shower, which was obviously teddy bear-themed.
Her top was open in the front to show off her baby bulge, similar to Montana Brown’s open cream tank from last week, which she showed on Instagram.
Although her baby bulge was the primary focus of the ensemble, the reality star finished it with a glittering jewelled necklace and a nude-pink small purse.
However, one individual objected to Hayley’s clothing, suggesting it looked too much like ‘pants’ or a ‘nighty’.
Hayley innocently shared her baby shower pictures, including her outfit, with the caption: ’11/06/2023 ☁️ my baby bear’s brunch 🐻🤍.’
Baby bumps are clearly in fashion for the Love Island girls, taking a page out of Rihanna’s book with the open front allowing their pregnancy to be the star of the show.
Amid hundreds of comments saying how beautiful she looked, one troll wrote: ‘Don’t like the outfit at all looks like night/underwear.’
Not letting the hate get to her, Hayley cooly replied: ‘Good job your opinion doesn’t matter 😇 have a great day xoxo.’
Hayley had shared several pictures and videos in her Instagram post featuring the photos of her outfit, opening with a sweet picture of her baby shower cake with a little bear on top, which had written on it: ‘We Can Bearly Wait.’
Teddy bear biscuits, cake pops, and cupcakes were among the bear-themed sweets served during the gathering.
For the most upscale teddy bear picnic, white flowers and petals were placed over tables, with candles in glass containers.
‘Obsessed with everything,’ commented fellow Love Island star Georgia Steel, ‘You, the decor, the bump all just so perfect xxxx.’
She added: ‘So so so beautiful ❤️.’
