Janette Manrara of Strictly Come Dancing is ‘counting her blessings every day’ as she continues her pregnant journey with her ‘little miracle’.
The professional dancer, 39, announced in February that she and her co-star spouse Alja Korjanec, 33, are expecting their first child.
It was a pleasant surprise for the couple, who were set to begin IVF treatment after attempting to conceive for two years prior to the pregnancy’s spontaneous occurrence.
Janette expressed her thanks for all of the love she has gotten since going public with her wonderful news on social media on Saturday.
Sharing a picture of her growing bump, she wrote: ‘Just a quick appreciation post. We feel so much love from you all.
‘Thank you for all the kind messages and support. We are growing happy and healthy together. I don’t take for granted how fortunate I am, and count my blessings everyday for this little miracle 🤍’
Jannette’s post came shortly after she opened out about her shifting shape and her workout routine.
Posting a video of her exercising, she said: ‘I decided to enjoy my morning (while I can) and do a workout right at home, w/ lots of breathing and stretching just to get my body moving again, and I feel great!
‘It’s not as hard or physical as I’m used to, but I do get tired faster so taking breaks in between as and when I need them, and doing movement that I know won’t hurt me or the baby is crucial.
‘My body is changing and I love seeing how it develops as the baby grows. It’s fascinating what our bodies do to create life.’
Janette appreciated that she was able to spend time exercising with her young one, and closed her message by adding: ‘I really want to teach them the importance of physical activity not just for your physical health, but how good it is for our mental health as well.
‘Keep moving no matter how that may look for you. We’ve all got this.’
