Rebel Wilson reflects on her amazing proposal to Ramon Agruma in front of Disneyland’s iconic castle and explains why she named the company’s CEO in her engagement announcement.
The 42-year-old actress proposed to her partner, 38, at the franchise’s Anaheim resort, getting down on one knee in front of Cinderella’s castle.
The actress shared her good news on Instagram with a series of lovely loved-up photos, along with a note of appreciation and thanks that included a special bow to Disney CEO Bob Iger.
She revealed she approached the ‘big, big boss’ for permission and admitted she was relying on him saying yes for a sign that the entire ordeal was meant to be.
Rebel explained her thinking during an interview on The Drew Barrymore Show set to air on Thursday, March 2.
‘I thought: “Well, if he says yes, then it was meant to be, and I was meant to propose that day at Disneyland”.

Noting that the site was “the most wonderful proposal place on Earth,” the celebrity continued to reveal the details of her big day.
‘I had to get special permission to get a special area roped off and get the topiary trees in and, you know, I had a violinist playing like Disney classics, and it was very, really romantic,’ she said.
The new mum also admitted she had no idea how to go about the physical proposal: ‘She said yes. And I was like: “Do I get down on one knee? What do I do?”
‘And I was like: “I may as well,” so I got down on one knee.
‘And then she was like: “What are you doing?” And goes: “Well, you can’t be the only one on your knee,” so she got down as well.
‘It was just beautiful and she said yes and then I was like: “OK, great!”’
‘Afterwards we went on this new rollercoaster they had, and I kind of fell afterwards,’ Rebel said of the proposal’s aftermath.
‘Because I’d never been engaged before, or proposed to, or proposed. So it was such a huge thing in my life’.
