Rio Ferdinand and his wife Kate Ferdinand are claimed to be in disbelief when burglars were spotted on their estate’s grounds.
Invaders were sighted on the site of their joint house in the home counties on Friday, according to sources.
According to The Sun, the event left the family “shaken up,” and an inquiry into the security breach is already ongoing.
Despite the terrifying encounter, the Ferdinands have continued to post on Instagram as usual.
Kate posted a video on Saturday afternoon of herself putting passionfruit and mango smoothie into glasses for her kids to enjoy.
Captioning the post, she added: ‘Lazy but very loud Saturdays. Well, it’s loud every day in this house.’

Kate, 31, is expecting her second child with Rio and plans to have a caesarean section after the traumatic delivery of their son, Cree, in December 2020.
Following Kate’s confession the previous year that she had lost her pregnancy at 12 weeks, the pair revealed their pregnancy news in January.
Rio also has three children, Tate, 13, Lorenz, 15, and Tia, 11, whom he shares with his late wife Rebecca Ellison, who died in 2015 after a brief fight with illness.
Kate recently expressed her disappointment when her step-son Lorenz moved out of the family home to follow in his father’s footsteps as a professional footballer.
Speaking about Lorenz leaving the nest on her popular podcast, Blended, Rio described how Kate was ‘crying’.
She went on to add: ‘I was devastated when he moved out. I miss him so much. We still see him twice a week but I miss him so much and that’s taken a lot of getting used to.’
