Ryan Reynolds has been making his way through British institutions, from owning a football team to hanging out in the Bake Off tent, so Downing Street seemed the logical next step.
The Free Guy actor, 46, discussed the UK film business with Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, 43, over a cup of tea, of course, in Number 10.
Sunak donned his normal coat and tie, while the Ghosted star dressed smart casual in a checkered shirt and chinos as they discussed Ryan’s production firm, Maximum Effort.
Due to the ongoing Hollywood writers and actors’ strikes, the Spirit actor had some spare time in his diary as production of Deadpool, which is being filmed in ol’ Blightly, came to a standstill.
Sharing a picture of himself mid-conversation with the Tory leader on Instagram on Wednesday, Ryan wrote: ‘With Deadpool paused, we visited 10 Downing to discuss the excellence of UK film crews and @maximumeffort.
‘Aside from shooting back home, the UK is my favourite place to make a movie. Hoping to see even more film work head to Wales. Rob would have joined but he’s currently having a word with Man Utd’s youth team goalie. 🏴’

Ryan and his wife Blake Lively shocked GBBO fans last month when they published photos of themselves with Dame Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood.
Ryan, beaming for the camera, captioned the photo on Twitter and Instagram, ‘A complete and unconditional hug of pure serotonin.’
While he is Canadian, Channel 4 viewers quipped that he had “cemented national treasure status” after hinting a future Bake Off participation, maybe for its Stand Up 2 Cancer celebrity series charity spin-off.

Ryan will be spending even more time in the UK now that the second season of his football documentary Welcome to Wrexham has been renewed.
The Red Notice actor and Rob McElhenney, 46, bought Wrexham AFC almost two years ago, and the squad has grown from strength to strength since then, as recorded in the show.
Last season, the club finished second in its league, having risen from 20th position.
They just defeated Boreham Wood 3-1 to win the Vanarama National League, and they are currently in League Two, fulfilling an ambition that was voiced during the first season.
