Ryan Thomas and Lucy Mecklenburgh can finally move into their family home after major renovations were finished.
The former Coronation Street actor, 39, and The Only Way Is Essex star, 32, purchased their home in 2021 but have yet to move in.
Lucy has been updating her Instagram followers on the development of their property as they extensively refurbished the interior.
Ryan and Lucy were finally able to move into their new family home and celebrate two years after purchasing it.
Lucy uploaded another cute family photo on Instagram, this time of her family of four in their spanking new brilliantly lighted kitchen, complete with breakfast bar.
Ryan and Lucy have two children, a son and a girl, and Lucy is also the stepmother to Ryan’s elder daughter Scarlett, whom he shares with ex-Corrie co-star Tina O’Brien.
Romeo and Lilah were also included in the love images shot at the family’s new home, which they moved into on Wednesday morning.
Lilah was escorted to her fresh new bedroom in another shot, which was decorated with plush carpets, stuffed animals, and a new cot for her to sleep in.
Meanwhile, Lucy shared a snapshot of herself enjoying a little power nap while sitting up, revealing the meticulous and thorough work done on the stairs.
Later in the gallery, there was a fantastic action photo of the four fighting and resting on a double bed, clearly happy to be in their new home.
Adam apparently acquired the home before Lucy had a chance to examine it – thankfully for her, she finally fell in love with the location!
Ryan’s transfer into his new home comes just days before his brother Adam begins his journey on Strictly Come Dancing, which premieres on September 23.
Adam swore last week not to allow his chronic rheumatoid arthritis get in the way of the competition, explaining that swimming helps relieve his symptoms.
