Brendyn Hatfield, Rachel Stevens‘ former Dancing On Ice professional partner, is supposedly dating her.
After beginning to practise together for the programme in late 2021, the two was matched up for the 2022 season, which aired in January of last year.
We were eliminated third, with dancer Regan Gascoigne going on to win the competition.
Rachel, 45, announced her divorce from spouse Alex Bourne in July, shortly before their thirteenth wedding anniversary, while Brendyn, 37, allegedly divorced his wife Jessica approximately two years ago.
On the programme, the couple were reported to have formed a strong friendship but are now’smitten’ and enjoying a ‘growing’ romance.
‘Rachel had a really great friendship and partnership with Brendyn and it keeps developing.
‘They’re really smitten and looking forward to the future,’ a source told The Sun on Sunday.
According to the insider, the S Club 7 singer “wasn’t expecting to find love again at this stage in her life,” but she was “feeling positive” and “hopeful about a new start.”
‘She is taking each day as it comes and focusing on upcoming career projects,’ they added.
Rachel announced her divorce from childhood boyfriend Alex last summer on Instagram, writing: ‘I just wanted to let you know that after much thought and deliberation, Alex and I have decided to divorce.
‘While we are no longer partners in marriage, we will remain partners in parenthood to our beautiful girls and continue with love and respect for each other.
‘I feel so incredibly grateful for the life we built together and will now continue to be focused on moving forward united as a family.’
The ex-couple, who married in 2009, has two kids, Amelie, 12, and Minnie, nine.
Chart-topper Rachel moved out of the family home in February, little over six months after her divorce from Alex, after landing a new position as a Heart FM DJ.
Brendyn, who finished third in this year’s Dancing On Ice season with partner Ekin-Su Cülcülolu, divorced his wife Jessica Hatfield – a DOI reserve skater in 2020 – in 2021, according to the publication.
Rachel will be touring the country with S Club 7 later this year to celebrate the group’s 25th anniversary, reforming especially for the occasion and performing favourites such as Reach, Bring it All Back, and Don’t Stop Movin’.
Earlier this month, bandmate Paul Cattermole, 46, died unexpectedly at home in Dorset.
Rachel recalled Cattermole’s ability to ‘light up any room’ in her own homage to him on social media.
