Selena Gomez was the perfect fan girl, standing next to Meryl Streep as the two teamed together to promote their latest television release.
The Hollywood couple were busy breaking the news that ‘s Only Murders In The Building’s third season would be released on 8 August – and the former Disney child was pleased to be in the presence of the Oscar winner.
Selena, 30, posted a video of the A-listers standing arm in arm, updating followers on the release date and laughing when Meryl, 74, attempted to recall the show’s premiere date.
Both looked stunning in sparkling gowns, with the Wizards of Waverley Place actress donning a beautiful gold gown that ended just above her ankles.
The dress had a black collar and short sleeves, and the actress wore it with long black heeled boots that matched the frock’s design.
She split her dark hair to the side and let it flow loose over her shoulders, allowing her pearl-drop earrings to take centre stage.

Meryl looked as stunning in a long blue wool-blend coat accented with jazzy sequins in the same colour on the lapels.
She bared her ankles and wore lace-up brogues in the same colour as her jacket, as well as earrings similar to Selena, when she broke the news to viewers of the programme.
In the clip, Selena kicked things off saying: ‘Hey everyone, get ready for season three of Only Murders In The Building,’ following which she theatrically gestured to the Devil Wears Prada actress to take over.
‘Dropping August… eighth? I think that’s right,’ Meryl hesitated as her co-star burst into laughter and confirmed: ‘That’s right’.
Selena uploaded the footage to her Instagram alongside the caption: ‘REMINDER: AUGUST 8TH on @ !!!!! [sic].’
Fans responded with excitement to both the pairing and the series’ revelations as one penned: ‘Such an iconic and cute duo [sic]’.
‘ARE U KIDDING ME? Legendssss [sic],’ another virtually gasped at the double act.
Meryl’s participation in the play, which also includes Steve Martin, 77, and Martin Short, 73, was announced in January when the pop singer uploaded a video of the entire group working on set.
