Sir Anthony Hopkins has released a video of himself dancing in his kitchen, and the internet is currently in a state of disarray.
The 85-year-old movie icon broke some amazing moves while preparing spaghetti, and celebrities and fans alike are overjoyed.
Sir Anthony beamed while shimmying about his lovely kitchen to Dean Martin’s Mambo Italiano in the new video, and before long, Leona Lewis, Naomi Campbell, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan had all commented below his video.
Needless to say, several of the A-lister’s followers praised Sir Anthony and his actions, with one calling him a ‘genius’ and another calling him’my idol.’
‘He is a national treasure and must be protected at all costs,’ raved another Instagrammer.
Other comments included: ‘Nothing better to wake up to other than Anthony Hopkins jammin’ in the kitchen’ and ‘Love this man.’
The Oscar-winning actor captioned his clip: ‘Hey goomba do you like how I dance the rumba…? Sunday vibe.’
It comes after Sir Anthony made some, well, scathing comments about his experience in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
He first appeared in the MCU in 2011 as the Norse deity Odin in Thor, with Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston.
He later returned to the character in Thor: The Dark World in 2013 and Thor: Ragnarok in 2017.
However, it appears that he did not put his heart and soul into his performance.
As part of a wide-ranging piece on how the MCU ‘swallowed Hollywood’, he told the New Yorker in June: ‘They put me in armour; they shoved a beard on me. Sit on the throne, shout a bit.’
‘If you’re sitting in front of a green screen, it’s pointless acting it,’ he added.
Since his performances in the MCU, the Meet Joe Black star has gone on to become the oldest person to win an Academy Award for acting, with his second award in The Father, playing a father with dementia.
He was 83 years old when he won in March 2021.
Sir Anthony previously won in 1992 for his legendary depiction of Hannibal Lecter in The Silence of the Lambs, and he has been nominated four times since.
