Stacey Dooley is one of television’s most renowned redheads, and it turns out that her ten-month-old daughter Minnie has inherited her mother’s hair colour!
Stacey’s partner, Strictly Come Dancing star Kevin Clifton, uploaded a snapshot of their daughter on Instagram on Sunday, captioning it, ‘Is @sjdooley a natural ginger?’
Many others raced to praise Minnie’s gorgeous hair colour beneath doting dad Kevin’s photo, including mom Stacey, who wrote: ‘The queen and her stunz mane.’
Another Instagrammer wrote: ‘Oh my gosh, this piccie is so cute, in her xmas jumper and jeans and beautiful hair.’
‘Wow mummy’s genes are deffo strong in the hair colour department,’ said someone else.
Other comments included: ‘Beautiful hair’ and ‘Look at her beautiful hair.’
Stacey and Kevin, 41, welcomed their daughter Minnie in January and have mainly kept her out of the spotlight.
Stacey, a mother of one, spoke up about her decision not to publish images of Minnie’s face online during the summer.
On The One Show in July, the TV host reminisced on the families she met as part of her Stacey Dooley Sleeps Over series.
One of the homes she visited belongs to the Saccone Joly family, YouTube vloggers who broadcast every part of their lives with millions of followers, including the raising of their four children.
Asked by host Alex Jones where she stands, Stacey replied: ‘I’m probably like every parent in the UK, do you know what I mean? We’re trying to figure it out.
‘Kev and I… so, I’ve got a little girl, Minnie, and she is 10/10, magic, golden.
‘Of course, instinctively, I want to show her off to the world.’
On her reservations, Stacey added: ‘But it’s such tricky territory. It’s hard to navigate because she can’t really give true consent yet.
‘I film with loads of kids and I’ve got pals who are public-facing who put their kids out there and that’s totally, totally their choice.
‘But, for the time being, I think we’re just going to wait until she’s a bit older.’
