Stacey Solomon is understandably overwhelmed after hitting a new milestone after giving birth.
The Loose Women host has given birth to her fifth child, her third with husband Joe Swash. Stacey, 32, announced the arrival of their baby daughter in a touching Instagram picture on Saturday after taking a few days off from social media.
The couple has yet to reveal the name of their daughter, but Stacey has kept her fans updated on how the family is doing.
The former X Factor judge shared a video of herself and Joe, 40, weighing the infant in a blanket on her Instagram stories.
She wrote: ‘I’m sitting in bed doing the cluster feeds ahead of the night time (I forgot how hard breastfeeding is at the beginning but I’m so excited to establish it).
‘Your messages, comments, stories and everything are just so so so amazing. Thank you. I’m so grateful for my family on here and I just love you.’
Stacey then shared her pleasure at hitting a new milestone that will allow her to attempt and breastfeed the child, adding: ‘My milk came in today so I’m an emotional mess. But I adore you all and can’t wait to meet up with you all properly.
‘She’s fantastic, and the other guys are completely smitten with her. This video has made me cry.
‘Goodnight everyone, I’ll see you on the other side of the night feed,’ says the narrator.
Stacey and Joe now have seven children, including son Rex, three, and daughter Rose, one, as well as boys Zachary, 14, and Leighton, ten, from prior relationships. Joe and a former partner have a 15-year-old kid named Harry.
After eight years together, the pair were married in July 2022.
Stacey announced the arrival of their newest Pickle Cottage family member on Instagram, writing: ‘To my little family on here… I didn’t realise I wasn’t quite prepared for the crazy quick whirlwind that occurred right after I took this picture. I’m so so so excited to share with you that…’
‘She’s Here,’ she wrote beside a photo of the baby. Our lovely daughter was born at home, with all of your brothers and sisters eager to cuddle you forever and ever.
‘You literally flew into our world 😂… And none of us can quite believe your thick dark head of hair that we just can’t get over. We can’t believe your here.
‘Welcome to the world beautiful girl, thank you for the last few months in my tummy, we can’t wait to love you forever and ever we are so grateful we get to be your family.’
