Stacey Solomon has had a difficult time recently as her children have reached several important milestones.
The Loose Women panellist, 33, was overcome with emotion as her 12-year-old son Leighton graduated from primary school this summer, preparing to embark on a new chapter as a year 7 student in September.
And now, four-year-old Rex is about to start school for the first time.
Stacey, who has Rex with husband Joe Swash, 41, playfully begged her followers to’send aid’ as she adjusts to the drastic changes in her sons’ lives.
Taking to Instagram, the former X Factor judge uploaded a photo of Rex’s uniform, ironed and hanging up.
In classic Stacey fashion, she designed her own labels, but joked about only being able to buy his school shoes right before the start of the school year since he ‘grows like a plant in the summer’.
Alongside a snap of Rex’s smart school trousers, Stacey wrote: ‘I can’t even describe how emotional this makes me.
‘I can’t believe in just a few days Rexy will be in big school, he’s still my baby.’
‘And Leighton is off to seniors’, she added. ‘Omg send help.’
In a subsequent Instagram post, the TV personality gave her 5.7 million fans a peek inside her relaxed bank holiday weekend.
Stacey and Joe’s kids posed in identical tracksuits before going for a walk in the park.
She wrote: ‘A wholesome weekend at home…🤍 That’s it. Doesn’t happen often.
‘Just stayed home all weekend doing my favourite things in the world. Eating ALL the food, being with family, walks, games, cuddles, baths & just time with them 🥲’
‘Do you ever have one of those weekends where you don’t want to go to bed on the last night because you know it’s back to reality tomorrow? 😂’, she asked her fans. ‘That’s me right now.’

The Solomon-Swashes have had a busy summer, travelling to sunny climes for a luxury vacation.
Stacey has an exed son, Leighton, as well as an elder son, Zachary, 15, and her husband, Joe, has a son, Harry, 16, with his ex-partner.
They also have three children together: Rex, Rose, one, and Belle, five months.
The trio shrugged off criticism for their pricey vacation, while Stacey made us all green with jealousy by sharing the most stunning trip photos.
Stacey stated that Joe and their family had stayed at the premium Regnum Carya hotel in Turkey, which can cost tens of thousands of pounds at this time of year.
Fans were outraged as Stacey revealed she obtained a discount from the agency, alleging she ‘doesn’t live in the real world’.
Stacey later responded to the criticism, advising users to ‘unfollow’ her if they don’t agree with the information she shares.
‘If me sharing our holiday doesn’t make you feel good then unfollow or just mute me or something,’ she urged. ‘I love coming on here and sharing things so much and I love our community on here.
‘All I ever want is to take you on the adventure with us and hopefully make you smile along the way.’
