Stacey Solomon touched fans’ hearts by revealing a really significant time in her family’s lives.
The 34-year-old Loose Women personality said on Monday (October 16) that a long-held goal of hers had come true.
Stacey’s grandmother now resides nearby in her Essex estate, Pickle Cottage, where she lives with husband Joe Swash, 41, and their children.
The X Factor contestant struggled to express ‘how fortunate and thankful’ she feels after finally convincing her grandmother to come closer to her.
Stacey took to Instagram to post the cutest photographs with her 5.8 million followers, grinning as she cuddled up to her grandmother outside her house, while another shot showed her grandmother playing with her granddaughter Rose, one.
Stacey’s caption read: ‘I can’t even describe how lucky & grateful we feel that we finally managed to convince grandma to move closer to us.
‘This week we’ve been settling her in and it’s been magical 🥹’
She added: ‘Thank you Grandma for building up your confidence, we know how hard it was to leave a place you’ve been your whole life.
‘But we are so excited to be in your life with you every single day & make the most of the gift that you are.’
‘To the greatest Great Grandma in the world we love you 🤍’, she concluded
Stacey’s fans were similarly overtaken with emotion in the comments.

Stacey later posted a lovely video of her grandmother playing with her grandchildren.
‘The kids have always been obsessed with great grandma and now they get to grow up with her properly’, she said.
She also said it’s ‘all we’ve ever wanted’ to be able to ‘make the most precious memories’ with her grandma.
Stacey confirmed that her loved one is now ‘settled in and so, so happy’ in her new home, having already made ‘loads of friends’ in the area.
‘Can’t tell you how excited I am for grandma cuddles every day from now on’, exclaimed the Sort Your Life Out host.
In 2022, Stacey and EastEnders star Joe moved into their vast mansion.
Stacey transformed much of the house herself with her clever DIY talents, and the gorgeous home spans 2.5 acres of Essex countryside.
She enjoys keeping followers up to date on her art endeavours, whether it’s remodelling her bathroom or decorating her front entrance for important occasions.
