Stacey Solomon has shown to be the most relatable celebrity yet.
The 33-year-old X Factor contestant has shared a peek into her daily ritual at her home Pickle Cottage, which she shares with husband Joe Swash, 41, and their children Zachary, 15, Leighton, 12, Rex, four, Rose, one, and five-month-old Belle.
To say the video is honest would be an understatement, as the Loose Women panellist takes a novel approach to the neatly groomed, glittery morning rituals we’re used to seeing from influencers.
The video starts with Stacey saying: ‘Spend the morning with me, getting ready for work. I love watching other people’s ones of these.
‘Everyone always starts by turning their alarm off, but I don’t know how they do that magic without having another phone? I don’t have another phone so, you’re just gonna have to take my word for it!’
See, a relatable queen from the get-go.
The presenter goes downstairs to let her dogs out after tying her hair and changing into gym clothes as her children sleep.
Oh, and this is at 5 a.m.!
‘As I get more into this, I realise just how boring I actually am,’ she comments.
Stacey then records herself walking to the garage for a treadmill run and some stretches.
‘If the kids are asleep, I’ll go down the garage and try and do some gym. Ran for my absolute life like I was being chased by the police just because I knew I was filming it and I wanted to look fitter than I actually am,’ she jokes.
‘Can honestly say, it just made me wanna throw up.’
Stacey then hops in the shower and films a short clip washing her hair, saying: ‘I tried to do one of those, in the shower, pretty videos, but I just look like a freak.’
As she brushes her teeth, she quips: ‘Then I brush my teeth with my toothbrush from the Stone Ages because I forgot to charge my electric one.’
Stacey points out that it’s just 5:45 a.m. as she gets ready and oils her hair!
It’s natural that the Sort Your Life Out presenter wakes up so early for alone time, but her brood soon awakens.
While Stacey does some printing, son Rex is the first one up for cuddles in the kitchen, leaving room in her voiceover for a playful jab at Joe.
‘Had to print off Joe’s scripts because 10 years of a relationship won’t teach you how to use a printer,’ she says.
The actress then prepares breakfast for her children and adds a cute film of them eating cereal.
‘At this point, I’ve run out of things to say, but I do love watching my kids eat for some reason,’ she adds. ‘It gives me great joy.’
‘And now it’s time for a mandatory mum guilt cuddle, all the cuddles I can squeeze in before I leave for work,’ Stacey says as she cosies up to her kids to say goodbye.
The typical video concludes with her handing over baby Belle to her father before leaving the house, with Joe pulling a less-than-excited smile.
Stacey posted the video on Instagram, where she has 5.7 million followers, and said in the caption that ‘every day is different.’
In the comments, her supporters were enamoured with how down-to-earth she is.
‘You are so lovely … so refreshing to see just a lovely girl just being her normal self’, one person commented.
Another wrote: ‘You crack me up, this is by far the best morning video ever! Screw everyone else’s, you are so real and I love that about you 👊🏼😘’
‘The BEST GRWM reel I’ve ever seen! Please do more of these!’, one follower begged.
‘You are so normal and that is why we love you Stace! ❤️’, a fan added.
Oh Stacey, what a treasure you are.
