Stacey Solomon has informed followers that her dogs are safe and healthy after receiving’millions’ of messages from people worried about their safety.
The 34-year-old TV personality and former X Factor icon maintains a positive social media presence, providing followers with regular updates on her home, family, and work.
Stacey lives at ‘Pickle Cottage’ with her 42-year-old husband Joe Swash and their five children, Zachary, Leighton, Rex, Rose, and Bell, who range in age from 17 to one.
And this week, the pleased mother shared an exquisite snapshot of her two youngest daughters, Rose (two) and Belle (one).
In a video, Rose shook out a box of raisins for her baby sister, who was seated in a high chair and enjoying the fruits.
However, more than a few raisins had dropped to the floor, and when Stacey instructed Rose to pick them up, the toddler smiled and recommended the dogs eat them.
However, raisins can be toxic to dogs and, if consumed, can cause a variety of catastrophic symptoms ranging from stomach issues to renal failure.
While the dogs were not seen in the video and did not appear to be near the high chair or the floor where the raisins had landed, animal lovers felt it was best to be safe than sorry.
They messaged Stacey in droves, telling her not to feed raisins to her two puppies, Teddy and Peanut.
And Stacey responded publicly to one of her Instagram stories, stating she got ‘literally 10 million’ notes urging her dogs not to eat raisins.
‘This is why I was telling Rose we have to pick them up & they can’t be eaten by the doggies & there are no doggies around Belle’s high chair when usually that’s their fave spot.’
She added: ‘But just in case any of that still wasn’t clear… DON’T feed raisins to dogs.’
Stacey is open about her joy of being a mother and frequently posts adorable footage of her five children.
She and husband Joe have three children: Rex, five, Rose, two, and Belle, one year old. She is also the mother of Zachary, 16, and Leighton, 12, from prior marriages.
Joe also has a 16-year-old son Harry from a previous relationship, and despite their full house, Stacey and Joe have discussed having additional children, whether naturally, through fostering, or adoption.
Recently, Stacey responded to a fan question on whether she would look more kids by declaring her ‘favourite thing in the whole wide world is being a mum’.
‘I just get so much joy from watching our little ones grow & getting to be a part of their world.’
‘I would love more. Whatever will be will be. But omg I love them,’ she wrote, before joking ‘Joe will be off to get a vasectomy when he sees this’.
Joe, on the other hand, has stated that he would like to foster a kid because his mother, Kiffy, has worked in foster care for the past 15 years.
He told Netmums podcast: ‘Fostering is something that me and Stacey have talked about and would love to do.
‘We’d love to foster, we’d love to give something back, you know?’
Joe went on: ‘It is something that we definitely want to do when our kids get old enough that they’re not as reliant on us.’
