Stacey Solomon has addressed fan speculation that she was already pregnant when she married Joe Swash, following the couple’s recent announcement that they are expecting their third child.
The Loose Women host and the ex-EastEnders star announced they are expecting their third child together earlier this month after getting married in July.
We welcomed Rex in May of 2019, and Rose in October of 2021. Stacey has two sons from her previous relationships, and Joe has one.
Stacey announced on Friday that she is expecting a baby – only in a few weeks time!
In a new Instagram post, Stacey, 33, uploaded several joyous pictures, writing: ‘👼🏻Coming soon… Much sooner than we thought 😂,’ she wrote.
‘When we found out we still wanted to have that first few months you usually would to adjust and get excited and enjoy it to ourselves, but that didn’t leave us with very long left 😂 So this time next month we will be getting ready to say hello to a whole new pickle 😭.’
She continued: ‘So grateful 🖤 While we had some time off we thought we better take some memories before it’s too late 📸.’
While everyone was preoccupied with the beautiful pictures from her wedding, Stacey noticed some comments from followers who had noted the dates and presumed that she was pregnant during the ceremony.
She hilariously replied: ‘For those saying you knew when we got married, well you could have let us know Poirot.’
In a video shared on her Instagram Story today, Stacey thanked all of her fans for the outpouring of love and support they’ve given her.
She also revealed that her baby was going to be arriving far sooner than people might have expected, given she and Joe found out they were having another child later than they usually would have done.
‘I just wanted to come on and say thank you so much, you’re honestly so lovely and so kind. We actually found out way later than you would usually, so we’re a lot further along than when you would usually tell people,’ she said.
‘So we are really nervous and it was a real surprise, but we’re so grateful and really excited for what’s to come.’
