The actor Sadie Sink is attired to kill in a series of seductive photos released to proclaim her as the new face of Armani Beauty.
According to the brand, the 21-year-old Stranger Things star is the newest global ambassador for the beauty brand alongside Cate Blanchett, with whom she will star in the “upcoming new chapter of S.”
In photographs announcing the collaboration, the actress from The Whale wears her cascading red hair down and a vibrant red blazer against a red background.
To make her makeup stand out, she applies a thin line of eyeliner and thick lashes.
In another image, she can be seen gazing into a mirror, caressing her lips, and writing “SÌ” in red lipstick on the glass.
Sadie is described as ‘passionate and uninhibited’ in a statement from Giorgio Armani, just like the product line.
‘To me, SÌ embodies both reason and emotion. It is an invitation to be passionate and free and to commit to total self-expression. And I see this in Sadie Sink, a talented young actor who said yes to her passion for film and acting at a tender age and whose commitment has seen her dream come true,’ the 89-year-old Italian fashion designer said.
Sadie announced the news on her Instagram page, posting the stunning pictures and writing: ‘Happy to announce I am joining @armanibeauty as their newest global ambassador #armanibeauty.’
Recently, the celebrity discussed what it is like to work with Armani and her views on the sustainability of the cosmetics industry.
‘I feel a little bit more educated about beauty than I did when I was younger,’ she told Harper’s Bazaar.
‘So I’m curious to explore the many products that Armani has because it’s such a versatile beauty brand, and try to connect with my fan base who are a little bit younger. Hopefully, I can give them inspiration for beauty however that might be.’
She went on to applaud Armani on its work towards sustainability in the company.
‘Sustainability is an issue that I think all brands should prioritise and be concerned about when crafting new products. It really is up to these big beauty brands and to make choices that are sustainable,’ she added.
‘The steps that Armani is taking are really thoughtful and I’m excited to see how they continue to make those choices and grow further in that movement.
‘It’s nice to see how sustainability plays such a big role in the beauty space because it should be of utmost importance right now.’
