Following a difficult C-section birth, Janette Manrara has posted a beautiful sequence of images of her new baby daughter’s room.
The Strictly Come Dancing expert, 39, gave birth to her first child in July, with her boyfriend Alja Korjanec, 33, also becoming a first-time father.
Janette tweeted photos of herself cradling baby newborn Lyra Rose at the hospital earlier this week, as Alja sat by her bedside.
Later, Alja uploaded a photo of the dancing couple leaving the hospital, carrying Lyra Rose to the vehicle, and driving home to begin their lives as a family of three.
Janette has already been back at home for a week and has given fans a glimpse into her new life, eager to show everyone Lyra Rose’s nursery.
Janette shared information of her ‘wonderful’ delivery on Instagram, confirming to her followers that Lyra Rose was born through C-section.

The Strictly dancer, who reached the final with YouTuber HRVY in 2020, revealed where her kid will spend her time on Instagram.
Janette and Alja have decorated the room with plush animals and soft beige rugs, accenting the room with dark grey furnishings.
Close-up shots also revealed that they’d added house plants and cute decorations, one of which featured Winnie the Pooh figures.

The couple married in 2017, just before the 15th series of Strictly Come Dancing, in which Janette finished 10th and Alja finished runner-up.
Alja announced his departure from Strictly in March 2022, and he did not appear in the most current series, which was won by Hamza Yassin.
After a no-doubt exhausting first week of fatherhood, Alja was found resting close daughter Lyra Rose – Janette tweeted the cute snapshot.
