Victoria Beckham‘s skincare routine has left many perplexed.
Our Spice Girls legend, 49, is no stranger to the world of beauty, since she runs a best-selling business and is rarely seen looking less than stunning.
Her methods for getting such a natural, ageless complexion, however, are somewhat odd.
VB has revealed her skincare routine and the extent she goes to keep her skin looking flawless at all times.
It also involves a lampshade.
Maybe it doesn’t, but it really seemed like it at first.
In reality, Victoria is a fan of LED lights and enjoys the perks of wearing a mask.
On Instagram, the fashion designer posed on the bed, resting down in her robe (of course, from her own line) as her LED mask did its magic and projected blue light, which is recognised for its anti-bacterial characteristics.
It’s an interesting contraption, to say the least, with commentators calling it ‘weird’ and comparing it to a bucket!
Victoria declared in her caption: ‘MORE IS MORE WITH MY SKINCARE ROUTINE!’
She also likes dermaplaning (shaving the skin) and masking, admitting unashamedly that her regimen is ‘extensive’.
Taking to the comments, a user named DesignerEllen wrote: ‘Thought you had a lampshade on your head for a moment🤣🤣🤣’
Joking about Victoria’s influence, Michelle Harris mocked: ‘There will be millions of people running out to put a bucket over their heads😂’.
What are the possible benefits of LED masks?
- Enhance skin hydration
- Enhance texture
- Boost collagen production
- Combat acne-causing bacteria
- Aid with clearer complexion
‘Why do you have a bucket in your head? 😅’, asked RuthTyche.
Tara Carroll said: ‘Getting Marshmello vibes here’, comparing Victoria to the American music producer and DJ who wears a marshmallow-shaped block on his head.
‘This is odd’, declared _cotton9_.
While some followers were confused, others were completely on board with Victoria’s LED masking.
‘I’m using led masks too and they work wonders!’, commented Enrica Scielzo.
‘Love your skin care tutorials xox’, commented Victoria Cale.
Victoria Sommer added: ‘Same here… With my LED mask on my bed after infrared sauna’.
Victoria subsequently stated on her Instagram Story that she wears the mask ‘every night’ when feasible.
‘I have noticed such a difference using an at-home LED light, and I try to use it every night’, she penned.
In between facials, she utilises various face masks and dermaplaning to remove her ‘peach fuzz’ and ‘dead skin’.
The mask Victoria uses is a medical-grade equipment that costs over £2,000.
Meanwhile, her robe is £350, and additional skincare items highlighted in her regimen include Victoria Beckham Beauty’s power serum (£116) and a moisturiser (£60).
Victoria routinely shares her beauty tips and tricks with her millions of followers.
Her polished look isn’t only for the world to see; even husband David Beckham seldom sees her without make-up.
Last year, the Wannabe hitmaker admitted to being ‘self-conscious’ about her brows in particular.
‘Now, this is the first time that I have ever let anybody see me without my brows on,’ Victoria said as she filmed a make-up tutorial and began brushing her brunette brows with a spoolie.
‘Even my own husband never sees me without my brows on,’ she admitted.
‘It’s just my thing,’ she explained, explaining why David, 48, doesn’t see her without her brows.
‘It’s something I’m almost quite self-conscious about. You know, over the years, over-plucking has left me with quite gappy brows.’
‘If you can see, I have gaps right here and a few missing either side, quite a few missing, actually,’ she added, pointing to the middle of her brows and the arch.
‘Too much plucking has really left me quite self-conscious about my brows,’ she reiterated, showing the areas that she has to fill in so her brows are fuller.
