Pat Benatar, an 80s music icon, might be a vampire, since she appears to have barely aged in a recent Instagram photo.
The 71-year-old Hit Me with Your Best Shot hitmaker gained to prominence in the late 1970s and early 1980s after releasing her debut album In the Heat of the Night, which included the hits Heartbreaker and We Live for Love.
She has now received four Grammy Awards, two multi-platinum and five platinum albums, 15 Billboard top 40 songs, and induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
The singer also seemed to defy time, as she looks unexpectedly young in an Instagram snapshot of herself spending quality time with her kid.
Pat looked stunning as she threw her arm around her daughter Haley Giraldo, whom she shares with husband Neil Giraldo.
She looked timeless with her silver hair chopped into a beautiful shoulder-length bob and a casual white shirt.
Benatar’s daughters have enjoyed successful careers in their own right, with mum-of-three Haley enjoying her own music and TV career while sister Hana amassing millions of followers on TikTok, Instagram and YouTube for her beauty and lifestyle content.
Hana previously revealed what it was like to have two music legends as parents, telling Hollywood Life: ‘You know, I never really felt like I was “Pat Benatar’s daughter” because my mother and father are so humble. If you met them, you would be like “that cannot be Pat Benatar”.’
She said that for her parents, raising Hana and Haley as normal children was ‘a very big deal’, adding: ‘My mother was always like, “Listen, I wasn’t handed everything on a silver spoon you have to work for it.”

‘I started working on tour and learning how to do things on my own, which I am very grateful for. I was so independent. I was ready to go. The tough skin I have now is from being her daughter.’
She described her mother as her ‘biggest role model’, sharing that she ‘speaks to her all the time.’
Pat previously told People about the pressures from music executives to hide her pregnancies at the height of her career: ‘They wanted me to be the single vixen, and having a baby was as unvixenlike as you could be.’
However, she never hesitated to prioritise Hana and Haley, calling her emphasis on parenting ‘the correct thing to do.’
