Zayn Malik debuted a rare selfie on social media, driving his fans into a frenzy.
The ex-One Direction member shared a selfie of himself seated in a vehicle, staring into the camera.
The 30-year-old artist was dressed warmly in a collared shirt and patterned orange pullover, with a scarf around his neck.
He wore his hair in its natural colour with the sides chopped in a fresh style, brushed back off his face.
Zayn last shared a candid photo of himself in November, when his hair was chin-length and parted in the centre, with pink ends.
With the new photo, Zayn published without a comment, fans were ecstatic to have another look of their favourite.

‘WE MISSED YOU!!’ exclaimed one follower, while another joked: ‘King of Zelfies ❤️’
‘Mouth = dropped,’ posted a fan while another asked: ‘Zaynnnnn, where have you been locaaaa?!’
Others were clamouring for more of his music.
‘Waiting for your next album king 👑,’ prompted one user
Zayn previously teased listeners with the prospect of new music by sharing a mysterious teaser film last year that hinted at a Jimi Hendrix collaboration.
It was eventually found to be a new version of Hendrix’s song Angel from his posthumous studio album The Cry of Love, released in 1971.
‘Being invited to collaborate to commemorate @jimihendrix’s 80th birthday was such an unexpected and big honour,’ Zayn said on Twitter while sharing a music clip.
‘I have so much respect and admiration for Jimi, his music and fans. Angel is out now – hope you love the track as much as I do. Happy 80th Jimi,’ he added.
Liam Payne and Niall Horan, Zayn’s ex-bandmates, hurried to congratulate Harry Styles on his stunning Grammys win, which included beating off Beyoncé and Adele for the coveted album of the year award.
Alongside a snap of hitmaker Harry looking down at his trophy, Liam penned: ‘Wow… this image is really something to wake up to and when you write music like you do Harry you deserve every millisecond of that moment looking down smiling at the trophy you’ve earned. God bless you brother congratulations.’
Meanwhile, Niall merely uploaded a snapshot of his former bandmate on stage with the caption, “Very proud.”
Zayn departed the band in 2015, soon before the band went on an indefinite sabbatical.
He has now recorded three solo albums, the first of which, Mind of Mine, peaked at number one, as did one of its breakout singles, Pillowtalk.
