On an upcoming episode of 1000Lb Sisters, Amy Slaton couldn’t help but express her concerns about Tammy’s whirlwind love.
Tammy married Caleb Willingham at the end of last year in a low-key wedding after meeting at a weight reduction facility.
TLC viewers are presently receiving a front-row ticket to their courtship as well as the bride’s efforts to transform after a health crisis.
Despite being at her sister’s side on their wedding day, a first look clip from the upcoming episode of their programme highlighted Amy’s concerns about the wedding.
Tammy asked if she would be her maid of honour at the wedding in the video, which Us Weekly got, to which the mom-of-two answered, ‘It’s terrible soon, sis.’
She also stated that she had ‘a lot going on’ with her two children, Glenn and Gage, when her co-star pushed on assistance.
Amy finally consented to be a bridesmaid and help organise the wedding, but she said that while she loves Tammy “unconditionally,” she doesn’t know Caleb “well” enough to say the same about him.
‘You don’t have to get to know him, I’ve got to get to know him. That’s all that matters,’ the 36-year-old hit back.
Speaking to the camera, Amy conceded: ‘No matter what concerns I have, no matter if I’ve met Caleb or not, my sister is getting married. I’m going. At the end of the day, it’s her health and her happiness.
‘But if I meet him and there’s some red flags, you ain’t getting married.’
‘I’m genuinely trying to give Tammy everything she wanted in a wedding but I’m just so scared it’s going to end up in travesty,’ she added.
‘What if you end up going home and figuring out you just didn’t want to be married after all? Once they get home and reality sets in, who knows what’ll happen?’
Tammy and Caleb tied the knot on November 19, at the Windsor Lane Rehabilitation Center, in front of their loved ones, including Amy.
In an interview with E! News, the reality star recently spoke up about married life, raving about their wedding.
‘It was the best day of our lives. There was so much love in the room. I’m thankful that so many family members and our family from the rehab were able to come,’ she enthused. ‘I haven’t felt this good in a long time.
‘I’ve got a lot more energy. I’m living life to the fullest.’
Amy also expressed her admiration for the pair, hoping that they can assist each other achieve their ambitions.
‘When she first told me she was dating Caleb, I was like, “That’s good,”’ she continued. ‘Maybe they can team up and motivate each other in a way we couldn’t motivate her as a family because they are in similar situations.
‘I’m just happy to have another brother!’
