After failing to impress RuPaul during the highly anticipated Snatch Game episode, a fourth queen has been booted from Drag Race UK.
The surviving queens continued to compete for the title of UK’s Next Drag Race Superstar on Thursday’s episode, and sadly for Vicki Vivacious, she fell at the biggest obstacle yet.
The current show featured cameos by the renowned Carol Vorderman and Alexandra Burke, with the queens competing in the iconic Snatch Game with their finest celebrity imitation.
Snatch Game is usually a fan favourite, and Thursday was no exception, as the queens went all out in their costumes and funny impersonations.
Vicki, on the other hand, was informed flatly that her impersonation of TV chef Fanny Cradock ‘simply wasn’t funny’ by Ru, Alexandra, Michelle Visage, and Alan Carr.
Michelle said that while Vicki ‘looked like her [and] you had some moments, it just wasn’t funny’.
She added: ‘I just think you’re an overthinker and you got too far into trying to become her instead of having fun with her.’
RuPaul agreed that Vicky ‘performed Fanny Craddock perfectly, you just didn’t allow anyone else in.’
Vicki and DeDeLicious were named as the ‘bottoms’ of the week after Snatch Game and the ‘Heart Ons’ runway.
The bottom two queens competed for one last opportunity to impress by lip-syncing to Alexandra’s song Heartbreak On Hold, with DeDe winning.
So Vicki was advised to’sashay away,’ which is the last thing any competitor in the competition wants to hear.
Looking back at her time on the show, Vicki said her favourite challenge was, by far, the Rusical, as she ‘got a chance to combine drag with my love of singing and performing, what is there not to love?’
In a bittersweet moment, she admitted her favourite look was the outfit she wore to leave the show, ‘so at least I left looking like an absolute superstar’.
‘I feel like my whole experience is bookended by two beautiful outfits,’ she added, as she ‘absolutely loved’ her entrance look.
‘Being a RuGirl is most drag queen’s dream, so to have achieved it I feel lucky and proud,’ she shared.
‘The limelight has been amazing, from celeb followers on my socials to being spotted shopping in the supermarket – it’s all been gorgeous.’
It sounds like Vicki’s not quite finished however, as in a final twist, she left a parting note to the remaining queens on the mirror, writing in lipstick: ‘I’m more iconic than the Cornish pastry. Love most of ya!’
As the race heats up, the surviving queens will fight against one another to be named the UK’s Next Drag Superstar in next Thursday’s show.
RuPaul’s Drag Race UK returns next Thursday at 9pm on BBC Three and BBC iPlayer.
