A Place in the Sun’s Danni Menzies has shared an update on her recovery after being hit by a stolen moped three weeks ago.
The TV presenter was leaving a newsagent in Battersea earlier this month when she was struck down as the two women driving the vehicle lost control and ploughed into her while travelling at 30mph.
Flung to the pavement and left unconscious on the ground, Menzies was also left with cuts and bruises before being rushed to hospital.
Posting photos from the scene on social media soon after the accident, Menzies was put into a hospital gown and onto a stretcher, where her face was visibly bloodied.
Another photo showed her kneeling on the sidewalk with her blonde hair full of blood as someone handed her a tissue.
She’s now shared two photos with her mum as she recovers from the injuries.
‘A few weeks of hiding away and I’m getting back to normal, gonna have a scar but seems I got a fringe cut at the right time! Little wins,’ she wrote on Instagram.

She also thanked her mum for helping to care for her after the accident.
‘Very luck to have had this woman reorganising my life and keeping me occupied for the past week.’
Enjoying a walk with her mum, the pair also posed for a lighthearted photo, making faces at the camera.

Since the incident, Menzies has been recovering at home with her family.
When first sharing what had happened, she said that she was ‘not looking pretty right now to be honest’, but now looks to be on the road to recovery.
After helping couples to find their dream home abroad over the past six years, Menzies stepped away from A Place in the Sun earlier this year, saying that she would instead be turning her focus to projects closer to home.
Although she hasn’t yet specified what she’s got coming up, Menzies is involved in her family business, which boasts nearly 50 buy-to-let holiday houses, a golf course, riding stables (which she founded) a bar, restaurant and delicatessen.
