Adele will allegedly be the final celebrity to belt out songs in Carpool Karaoke for James Corden’s closing episode of The Late Late Show.
The 44-year-old Gavin and Stacey actor revealed his exit from the CBS series last year, after nearly eight years on the job.
As he prepares for his final shows, the Mammals actor appears to have hired a symbol to sign off Carpool Karaoke for the final time.
The 34-year-old Someone Like You performer is no novice to the singalong, having performed in the popular section in 2016.
The Hello hitmaker, who went for a drive in London before moving to LA, belted out her own tracks as well as those of the Spice Girls while drinking tea.
And now Adele is rumoured to be returning for more singing fun, having been photographed shooting in a vehicle alongside James in images acquired by the Daily Mail.
After it was revealed that Adele is preparing to release a new record, fans are hoping to hear a new song from her.
Adele has been working on her new record for a year, according to The Sun, with insiders claiming it contains the “most uplifting and positive songs” she has ever composed.
According to the report, the music icon is planning to release a surprise record this year.
Kim Kardashian, who was seen laughing with James in Malibu with a film team in tow, is also rumoured to be one of the final attendees.
They were photographed browsing the aisles of a petrol station, while the mother-of-four took the chance to try on headwear.
Previously, James discussed his choice to quit the show with Drew Barrymore, saying, ‘Look it’s not easy in any way to walk away from something that is so… I mean I’ll never work in a better environment than the one I work in now.
‘Nothing about leaving the show was to do with not enjoying it. I love it, but the truth is it became a very easy decision because I always knew it was an adventure and I never ever considered it to be the final destination.’
