Alexa Bliss has weighed in on the speculation (Picture: WWE)
Alexa Bliss has responded to terrible comments from fans following news that she is leaving WWE.
The former women’s champion, who was defeated by Bianca Belair in a Raw Women’s Title battle at the Royal Rumble last month before being attacked by the nefarious Uncle Howdy, has asked fans not to accept rumours regarding her future until she says so.
‘Don’t believe everything you read,’ she tweeted. It’s not real until it comes directly from me, lol.’
The statement came after PWInsider claimed that Alexa was ‘taking a little of a vacation’ from WWE and hadn’t been at any shows since the Rumble, saying that her apparent sabbatical was ‘not injury-related’.
The sabbatical was considered to be more than just’storyline-dictated,’ but the article did hint that WWE newcomer Bliss would be taking time off following her loss to Belair.
In addition to trying to dismiss the claim, the 31-year-old celebrity stated she has experienced harassment from trolls who have commented on the suspicions regarding her future.
Before her post urging people not to believe anything that doesn’t come from her, she tweeted: ‘“Good shes boring anyway”. “Hopefully she’s gone for good”. “She doesn’t care anymore”
‘Y’all don’t know what you’re even talking about. #StayToxicMyFriends’.
Bliss has not responded to the story or stated when she would return to television.
Unfortunately, dealing with trolls is nothing new for the wrestler, who has already expressed his frustration with the situation.
‘I agree that everyone should have the freedom to express themselves,’ she remarked last year. But when you talk about us as human beings, humans, rather than our roles, the divide is broken, and I don’t think that’s appropriate.’
