Alison Hammond burst out laughing after revealing she’d taken out her temporary tooth to test a dish, before exposing it to the camera for viewers to see.
On Friday’s episode, the presenter returned to the ITV show with her co-host Dermot O’Leary, and the pair welcomed Gok Wan into the kitchen to cook up a storm.
Alison addressed their home audience at one point, revealing that she’d had to store her temporary tooth in an unexpected place for safekeeping while she enjoyed Gok’s food.
‘I’m not showing people… well I don’t really mind showing you. Basically I’ve got an Invisalign, I’ve got a temporary tooth that I’ve got to keep putting in. But every time I eat, I can’t…’ she began, as Dermot, 49, burst into laughter.
‘I cannot eat with it in,’ the 47-year-old continued, before lifting up a glass of water to show on camera, in which she’d placed the tooth in question.
‘So I’ve put it in here just for the time being,’ she said, cackling as Dermot and Gok continued to laugh uncontrollably.

‘You can’t see ‘cause it’s see-through. And obviously I can’t laugh wide because then you’ll see my missing tooth,’ Alison added.
During today’s This Morning, the former Big Brother star also interrogated comedian Mo Gilligan about his guesses as a judge on The Masked Singer UK, following her participation in a special I’m A Celebrity-themed one-off show.
‘You actually thought I was Gemma Collins, and Katie Price! No one guessed!’ Alison remarked, after she performed as Witchetty Grub.
‘I thought you were going to know,’ she added to Mo, who commended her performance by saying: ‘You were good on it though’.
Alison reflected on her removal, saying, ‘I didn’t get to do my second [performance], I was going to sing a Bob Marley track, I was proper upset’.
The I Can See Your Voice panelist admitted that it was difficult to wear the costume, stating: ‘It was a cute character but I’m gonna be honest with you, it was one of the most challenging things I’ve ever had to do. Mainly because if you look at the costume, there’s a head inside another glass head.
‘The amount of oxygen I had inside – it was like zero, I was really struggling. I had to literally play it down.
‘Those moves you saw me doing, that’s all I could do ’cause I just wasn’t physically capable to sing, be in those two heads and dance as well.’
This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV.
