Tasha from Great British Bake Off had to leave a competition after fainting, with Alison Hammond running to her assistance to check on her.
After being brought outside the tent, the 27-year-old, who is the show’s first deaf competitor, was transported home by a physician.
The contenders were aiming to impress judges Paul Hollywood and Dame Prue Leith with their highly anticipated chocolate week masterpieces, but the blazing heat wave earlier this summer proved to be the hardest hurdle.
And it made Tasha feel faint at one point, when she crouched down and said, ‘I feel so dizzy.’
She was hustled out of the tent as she watched her white chocolate caramelising in the oven, and presenter Alison went out to console her.
‘It’s so hot, I think I need some air,’ she was heard saying, as a medic advised her to take her time.

‘Make sure you take nice and slow breaths,’ the medic advised, taking Tasha for a breather outside.
Alison went out to console her and walked her back home to rest.
‘I’m gutted,’ Tasha admitted, as she was pulled out of the challenge.

She went on to explain: ‘I had a massive migraine last night, I thought I could feel better this morning but…’
‘I can see you’re not well,’ Alison added.
‘Go home sweetheart, go home and rest, I’ll walk you back,’ the This Morning presenter comforted.
So Tasha won't be able to compete the technical…. heartbreaking is an understatement. #GBBO

As the moments aired on Wednesday, fans were just as sympathetic, with many sending their best wishes.
Others were disappointed that they couldn’t watch Tasha’s chocolate showstopper, with one commenting, ‘Oh no, Tasha isn’t returning for the showstopper.’
Another wrote: ‘#GBBO on the wrong night of the week and Tasha is out for the technical and showstopper, the vibe is just off man, I feel sad at this.’
‘Tasha unfortunately had to go, she will be with us next week,’ Paul later confirmed.
The Great British Bake Off continues next week on Channel 4.
