Amanda Bynes will make her first public appearance since her conservatorship ends when she attends a convention with her old All That co-stars.
Bynes began her career on the Nickelodeon sketch comedy series, appearing from 1996 until 2000.
She was the face of the Ask Ashley sketch, in which she portrayed a little girl who gave advice from her bedroom on a TV show.
Ashley appeared to be pleasant and friendly, but after reading letters brought in by dumb viewers, she would launch into a diatribe against the letter’s author.
Amanda will attend ’90s Con at the Connecticut Convention Center in March, 20 years after leaving the show, alongside former co-stars Kel Mitchell, Danny Tamberelli, and Lori Beth Denberg.
Amanda, 36, will also be making her public debut for the first time since her nine-year conservatorship formally ended in March of last year.
‘I’m really excited to reunite with my castmates and meet the fans,’ she said in a statement.
Amanda had been subject to the order for nine years, following a succession of mental health and substance misuse problems.
Amanda thanked fans for their “love and well wishes throughout this time” in a statement to People at the time.
‘I would also like to thank my lawyer and my parents for their support over the last nine years,’ she said.
‘In the last several years, I have been working hard to improve my health so that I can live and work independently, and I will continue to prioritize my well-being in this next chapter.’
Fans can attend a panel starring Bynes and her former co-stars, participate in a meet-and-greet, and take photos with the cast at the convention.
Aside from the All That group, the event will also feature Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Saved by the Bell, and Hocus Pocus actors.
Amanda’s performance on All That led to her own spin-off show, The Amanda Show, which aired for three seasons between 1999 and 2002.
