Chris Hughes, Amanda Holden’s husband, has received special clearance to spend time with Rachel Riley.
People in partnerships can have what are known as hall passes, lists, or pink passes on their crushes – in other words, they can spend time with a select few people while remaining secure in the knowledge that they haven’t lost their long-term spouse.
Celebrities presumably get involved as well, since Amanda has now disclosed who is on Chris’ list, and she is completely on board.
The 52-year-old disclosed the arrangement on her Heart Radio show with guest Joe Wilkinson and co-host Jamie Theakston.
‘You see that is my husband’s pink pass. He’s got a real thing for Rachel Riley,’ she shared.
Amanda, on the other hand, was quick to point out that there are regulations and restrictions. They can share lattes instead of margaritas.
‘I would allow him to take her out for a coffee,’ she stated.
Joe was unsatisfied with the information provided and inquired whether kissing or snuggling was authorised.
‘You work out the maths,’ she said. Surprisingly, our GCSE maths did not adequately prepare us for this problem.
Unfortunately for Chris, we don’t think Countdown anchor Rachel, 37, will be willing to participate. Pasha Kovalev, 43, has made her extremely happy. The couple met on the 2013 series of Strictly Come Dancing and married in 2019. They have two daughters, Maven Aria, three, and Noa, one year old.
So, although it may be a pleasant conversation to have over a Sunday roast, Betfred is unlikely to give chances on these famous couples’ crossing anytime soon.
Amanda is also certain that Chris, the father of her daughters Alexa, 17, and Hollie, 11, and Rachel will not meet.
