Anton Du Beke fought back tears as his children gave an endearing message on Life Stories.
On Wednesday’s ITVX show, Kate Garraway interrogated the Strictly Come Dancing judge, 57, during which his wife Hannah Summers disclosed his initial hesitation to conceive a family.
Hannah, who now has six-year-old twins George and Henrietta with the professional dancer, claimed he “hadn’t given much thought” to parenthood before they began IVF therapy to conceive.
Wiping away tears, an emotional Hannah explained: ‘I don’t think he thought it was something he wanted to do but creating his own family and how much they love him has been magical for him.’
After showing a montage of pictures of their children supporting their dad behind-the-scenes at Strictly, George and Henrietta melted everyone’s hearts with a message.
They told Anton via video link: ‘Hi daddy, you know we love you and we like your dancing a lot.’

Back in the studio with the Good Morning Britain host, 56, Anton confessed he hadn’t considered having children until he met Hannah, “the women I wanted to spend the rest of my life with.”
Anton, who was choked up, characterised himself as “the luckiest man” for having his family.
Anton married Hannah, a marketing professional, in 2017 after six years of dating.

Despite keeping their romance hidden, Anton revealed how they met on the Channel 4 show Steph’s Packed Lunch in 2021.
He said: ‘She was sat across a big table at a do and I thought, wow she is absolutely outrageous… She went off to the loo as one does. Outrageously, I followed her! She went into the ladies and I waited outside for her. I’m staggered she actually spoke to me.’
Anton added: ‘She came out she looked at me and went “have you been waiting outside the ladies for me?” and I went “Yes, It’s because I love you.”’
During the episode of Life Stories, the dancer also disclosed that on Boxing Day, he was stabbed by his drunken father and spent three days in the hospital recovering from the incident.
Kate Garraway’s Life Stories is available to stream on ITVX.
