Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins returns in 2023, putting a slew of renowned faces through their paces as they learn about some of the tough exercises that future special forces applicants must go through during selection.
This year’s cast includes 16 new celebrities, including former Health Secretary Matt Hancock, as well as musician Gareth Gates and Olympian Perri Shakes-Drayton – and the first episode of the series has already seen them face some hard obstacles.
Montana Brown is another star that is participating this year.
The 28-year-old, who recently became a mother for the first time, rose to prominence on another reality programme, Love Island.
Was she in the villa at the time, and did she win the series? Here’s what you should know…
When was Montana Brown on Love Island?
Montana Brown appeared in Love Island’s third series, which aired in 2017.
On Day 1, she joined Amber Davies, Kem Cetinay, Olivia Attwood, Camilla Thurlow, Marcel Somerville, Jess Shears, and Dom Lever in the villa.
The series aired for 50 days that year, and it was the first time a second villa, the now-famous Casa Amor, was featured.
Throughout her time on the show, Montana was paired with a variety of Islanders, including Dom, Marcel, Sam Gowland, and Simon Searles – but she eventually ended up with Alex Beattie, a bombshell who joined the villa on Day 26.
Did Montana win Love Island?
Although Montana and Alex came close to making the final, they did not win the series.
The duo was sent from the island on Day 50, only two days before the season finale, which was won by Amber Davies and Kem Cetinay.
Montana and Alex split just weeks after leaving the villa, with Montana saying on her Instagram Stories at the time: ‘Alex and I have decided to split. Making our relationship work on the outside has been hard.’
She added: ‘He hasn’t been the same since coming out of the villa.Despite this we are still close and I will always support him.’
Montana is now engaged to boyfriend Mark O’Connor, and the pair is expecting their first child, Jude, in June.
Montana called the former rugby player the “love of her life,” saying she couldn’t ‘wait” to marry her “best friend.”
Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins is on Sunday night on Channel 4 at 9pm.
