Naga Munchetty’s ‘bright’ neon green dress stunned BBC Breakfast listeners so much that some had to change stations.
On Friday’s broadcast of the morning news show, the former Strictly Come Dancing judge, 48, looked to match her costume to the UK’s continuous hot and sunlight, wearing a vibrant yellow/green top and matching pants.
Fans on Twitter reacted quickly to Naga’s outfit, with some comparing it to crossing guards or highway employees due to its resemblance to a high-vis vest.
Another joked: ‘@BBCBreakfast anyone lost their highlighter? Naga has it.’
However, many others praised Naga’s look, with one commenting: ‘Looking fab in that green outfit.’
‘Naga looking ridiculously fabulous in double acid yellow on #bbcbreakfast this morning,’ another wrote, while a third added: ‘Nice outfit naga.’

Morning all👋especially @BBCBreakfast as I think it's marvellous that Naga has turned up this morning without changing her clothes after doing a nightshift with The Higheays Agency😉

One BBC viewer pointed out that Naga’s outfit was inspired by Viggo, who wears hi-vis jackets for his performances and TV appearances.
‘@BBCBreakfast blimey, is Naga paying homage to Viggo Venn this morning? #myeyes,’ they commented.
This isn’t the first time a BBC Breakfast presenter’s wardrobe has confused viewers this week.

Carol Kirkwood, who has been providing weather updates on the show since 1997, stunned viewers with a dramatic outfit change on Monday.
The 61-year-old wore a white T-shirt with a rabbit in sunglasses motif while reporting from the RSPB Arne in Dorset.
‘Carol, my daughter loves your t-shirt! Where is it from?’ one person asked via social media.

Earlier this week, Naga was compelled to intervene in order to prevent her co-star Charlie Stayt from making an error live on-air.
While Naga was questioning a solicitor about support for families with impaired children, Charlie was caught reading a newspaper, prompting her to give him a sneaky poke.
Fortunately, Naga is an expert at preventing gaffes, having recently saved a BBC Breakfast piece from a gatecrasher.
Hannah Miller, a travelling reporter, was at Download Festival last Friday to discuss stories from the UK music festival.
However, while she walked around the tent, a festival-goer appeared and made an improper remark regarding drugs.
The reveler exclaimed into the camera: ‘I love my prescription speed provided by the NHS.’
While a slightly nervous Hannah apologised to the audience, Naga pulled the section short to avoid any additional inappropriate comments.
BBC Breakfast airs on weekdays from 6am on BBC One.
