Many audiences of Sunday With Laura Kuenssberg were without sound during the final minutes on BBC One this morning.
Viewers were left confused after Sir Iain Duncan Smith’s comments were muted halfway through his reply to the presenter regarding whether Conservative party members should vote for the new leader of the party.
The sound issues continued to plague the programme during Kuenssberg’s sign off and into the first moments of Politics London.
BBC iPlayer was also affected, with viewers taking to social media to highlight the technical fault.
‘Seems like 100 years of the @BBC has taking its toll and they’ve worn out the sound! Come on guys please fix it!!!’ one pointed out.
Another said: ‘No sound on TV , tablet, or phone on @BBCOne. @bbclaurak cut off during her last interview and nothing since. Is it just me or everyone?’
Not all regions were without sound though, with BBC North West appearing to be running seamlessly.
