This week, Below Deck Down Under has been mired in a scandal after two crew members were fired.
After a wild night out on the town, things got out of hand when some of the actors decided to try their luck with their coworkers.
When stewardess Margot Sisson was placed in her berth after passing out, bosun Luke Jones attempted to crawl into her bunk nude before producers and other staff intervened.
The same night, second stewardess Laura Bileskalne flirted with deckhand Adam Kodra in the hot pool before attempting to massage him in his berth.
She also made light of the situation between Margot and Luke, assuring the former that it was all a “joke” and that he “wouldn’t rape you or anything.”
After captain Jason Chambers was made aware of both of his crew’s inappropriate behaviours, he decided to fire them the next day, stating that cabins should be people’s “safety zone.”
He gathered his group and informed them it was’simple’ and that they should never ‘cross’ any boundaries.
But where are the two sacked crew members now that they’ve left Below Deck?
Where are the two ex-Below Deck stars working now?
The crew members of the Northern Sun, which had been cruising around Cairns in Far North Queensland, had to hunt for new employment immediately after being instructed to depart.
Luke has seven years of sailing experience before to joining the show.
Luke, who was born on the Gold Coast, not far from where the yacht was located, had previously stated that after years of traversing the world, he “didn’t miss home anymore.”
‘I’ve been away so long and have had so many other homes. I honestly feel like the world is my home. Family is key and I’m lucky enough that they love to travel like me,’ he said.
Luke moved to the Middle East about six months ago and now runs two businesses: Madness X Go, a gym class firm, and Wave Shark Dubai, a jet board company.
Laura has opened a rooftop restaurant in Barcelona after leaving Australia.
Are they dating anyone?
While it’s unclear whether Laura is in a relationship, her former co-star and colleague looks to be dating a fitness influencer living in Dubai.
Diana Maldonado, a personal trainer and influencer, has been posting posts with Luke in recent months, including one of them kissing recently.
However when questioned by a Below Deck fan who suggested she was ‘condoning his behaviour’, she hit back and claimed: ‘Girl he was just acting, it’s a TV show, it’s not real life.’
Do they have social media accounts?
Both Below Deck actors formerly had public Instagram profiles with about 7,000 followers apiece, but they’ve since turned them private.
However, Luke published a mysterious Instagram post regarding ‘opinions’ and ‘perspectives’ the day before the episode in which he was fired aired.
‘It doesn’t Matter what they think about you because you don’t Care,’ he captioned the post.
‘Everything we Hear is an Opinion, Not a Fact. Everything we see is a Perspective. Not the Truth.
‘Take Ownership and move forward.’
The day after the episode aired, he also posted a photo of the Northern Sun superyacht and captioned it: ‘Self Improvement 1.5 Years On.’
Meanwhile, Laura apologised, claiming she didn’t aware she’d made Adam feel uncomfortable and that “no one should be placed in that situation.”
She also apologised to Margot for ‘not being able to empathise’, but said turning 30 had been a ‘life-changer’ and was now watching what played out ‘as an entertainment show’.
Below Deck Down Under streams on in the US on Mondays, and on in the UK on the same day.
