Alissa Humber, a Below Deck stewardess, has explained where she stands with Camille Lamb following their season 10 drama.
The couple fought throughout the most of the series, and yelled so loudly that others on board overheard them at one point, leaving them both red-faced.
Captain Sandy chose to fire the deck / stew amid tense moments, with newbie Tyler Walker lately joining the boat as her replacement.
Despite the heated debates, they are now in calmer seas away from the cameras.
‘Actually, me and Camille talk more than I thought we would,’ she said of their friendship. ‘Camille’s reached out to me a few times and we kind of said our piece to each other.’
‘I would say we’re on good terms today,’ she continued, explaining that she has ‘more respect’ for her castmate now.
‘I was going through a lot with the firing, feeling guilty because she had told me I should be guilty, but I wasn’t guilty of anything. I just defended myself against somebody who got aggressive when they were told to do their job.’
‘I believe people forget that we were some of the youngest crew on board, so the drama from us doesn’t surprise me,’ she said to E! News, reflecting on their disputes.
Camille joined the crew as a deck / cook, but watchers saw her struggle with her responsibilities, causing tension on the interior and outside crews.
Although her problems have been a major plot point this season, head stew Fraser Olender hinted that there would be a lot more once she leaves.
‘I always remember this season back as Camille not even being the drama,’ he told Entertainment Tonight.
‘There’s a lot to come. I’m a bit worried about it, but there’s a hell of a lot of coming our way, and if people thought Camille was a big deal, then they’ve got a whole a lot of surprises.’
‘I really love Camille as a person, but she just wasn’t helping, and we were going through such a huge transition of losing Captain Lee [Rosbach], and, you know, getting used to Captain Sandy’s management style, and there was a lot going on, not least because the boat is enormous,’ he reflected.
‘Truth be told, she was just making everything harder when it was just so unnecessary. So yeah, it’s a shame. But I’m glad I made that exact decision, and I’m glad that Captain Sandy sort of gave me the ultimatum to make that decision.’
Below Deck continues on Mondays on Bravo, and is available to stream the same day on .
