Matty’s shocking Big Brother eviction was one day ago… and he already appears to be a completely different person!
The 24-year-old doctor from the Isle of Man was evicted this week in a brutal – yet iconic – backdoor eviction, narrowly missing out on a spot in the finale.
Matty chose Yinrun, 25, to read his letter, which was actually written by Big Brother themselves, during the emotional letters from home segment, and concluded by announcing his time in the house was over.
Matty, ever the optimist, left with a smile on his face after accepting that he had reached the end of his emotional journey.
He was back for the finale, of course, and reunited with all the other evictees – but you might not recognise him at first glance!
The ex-housemates revealed Matty’s hair cut in a series of Instagram posts ahead of the grand final between Jordan, Yinrun, Henry, Olivia, and Noky.
Fans were taken aback by his transformation after he became known for his unruly curls during his BB stint.
Matty, who finished sixth, now has a shorter hairstyle but has kept his famous moustache.
Matty wrote on his Instagram Story, alongside a mirror selfie of his outfit, ‘New hair:O Bring on the BB Final’.
Paul, Tom, and Dylan also shared photos with Matty, who was overjoyed to see the gang back together for one last BB celebration.
Big Brother fans took to Twitter to react to Matty’s unexpected new look.
‘He’s so pretty with or without the long hair’, one person wrote, alongside a heart eye emoji.
‘JAW IS DROPPED I DIDNT EXPECT THAT’, another wrote.

Another penned: ‘jesus that was quick!! rip to the curls’.
Following his departure from Big Brother, Matty was finally able to clear the air about the so-called ‘love triangle’ he found himself in with Jordan and Henry.
Of course, we now know that Matty is no longer in the picture, with Jordan and Henry having smooched their way through the final week and making plans for outside dates.
They weren’t always so sweet, though, as Jordan previously flirted with Matty, who is in an open relationship, and admitted to being ‘confused’ by his feelings.
‘I wish I would have asserted my boundaries earlier with Jordan, just to stop things spiralling a little bit and getting out of hand,’ Matty said afterward.
‘I wish I would have been firmer with him, just to let things stop.’
Matty went on to say that while all of his actions on Big Brother were true, it was such a small part of their day that became magnified.
He told us: ‘Everything that was filmed and showed actually did happen, like there’s no denying that 100%.

‘But it was much bigger outside than it was in the house, like even if you speak to all the housemates no one even knows it went on because for me it was 10 minutes out of my 24-hour day but to you guys, it was 10 minutes out of 45 minute episode.
‘So I’m not denying it happened. Everything that happened, the cryptic words, the too-ing and fro-ing, the hot and coldness, that was all definitely a part of my experience. I guess it was a small part of my experience than it seems out here.’
