Lesley Joseph certainly left a lasting impression on today’s Loose Women, flashing her knickers at the camera in what she described as a ‘Sharon Stone’ moment.
On today’s programme in the ITV studio, Lesley, 76, reunited with her former co-star Linda Robson, 64, having first acted opposite her on Birds of a Feather in 1989.
The pair reminisced about the many years of friendship they’ve shared, with Lesley also sharing how much fun she’s having performing in the stage production of Sister Act.
However, the most unforgettable part of her Loose Women appearance came at the very end, when she recreated her Birds of a Feather character Dorien’s performance of Like a Virgin.
As she took the mic, she danced her way in front of the panel’s table barefoot… before perching down on the step to copy Sharon Stone’s memorable scene from the 1992 film Basic Instinct, when she opened her legs while being interrogated, giving full view of her underwear.
Loose Women viewers were – unsurprisingly – left in utter shock.

‘What did I just see there??’ one person wrote, alongside a blushing emoji.
‘Cut after a flash of the knickers hahaha,’ someone else remarked, while another viewer tweeted: ‘We’ve all just seen what Lesley Joseph had for breakfast.’
One Twitter user speculated how the camera operator might have reacted to Lesley’s unexpected move, writing: ‘I loved Lesley, her Sharon Stone took the camera man off guard though,’ adding a cry-laughing emoji.

After Lesley flashed her knickers at the camera, she continued to cross and uncross her legs, leaving the panel in fits of laughter as Linda tried to pull her friend’s skirt down.
The shot then quickly transitioned to the credits, as the music continued.
Lesley recently spoke to Metro.co.uk to address whether she’d ever return as Dorien in future, making it clear that she has bid farewell to the character.
When asked whether there could be more episodes of Birds of a Feather, she said: ‘I don’t want to see Dorien on a Zimmer frame, so bless her heart, I think I’ve laid her to rest now.
‘It was a phenomenal series and people still adore it – I can’t tell you how many letters I get from people about it and there’s only a handful of sitcoms that have success like that.’
Loose Women airs weekdays from 12.30pm on ITV.
