The first live semi-final of Britain’s Got Talent has concluded, and we now have our first two finalists!
Eight artists took the stage on Monday night in the hopes of impressing the judges, but more crucially, the fans at home, since only their votes can send them through.
Ant McPartlin suffered a stunning crash barely minutes after the cameras began rolling, so the show got off to a flying start.
But, like a real professional, he laughed it off and said that the show must go on, so the semi-finalists mounted the stage and gave it their best.
United 2 Dance, Gamal John, Ichikawa Koikuchi, Enzo Weyne, Parkour Collective, Abi Carter-Simpson, Amy Lou, and Musa Motha all delivered outstanding performances, stepping up from their initial auditions.
We had everything from strong voices to dancing troupes, magic shows to, well, farting?

Unfortunately, not everyone made it, with Ant and Dec initially introducing the three artists with the highest votes.
Amy Lou, Musa Motha, and Abi Carter-Simpson rounded up the top three, with Musa emerging as the winner after impressing with his dancing.
The judges then had to select who would take the second spot, with Bruno Tonioli and Amanda Holden going with Amy Lou and Alesha Dixon and Simon Cowell going with Abi.
As a result, the hosts went back to the public vote, which pushed Amy Lou through!
The crowd erupted in applause, shocking the new mother.
Amy Lou stunned everyone with her dramatic first audition, and she gave birth six weeks before the semi-finals.
Tonight, she returned to the stage with a cover of And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going that had the judges on their feet.
Meanwhile, Musa had Bruno in tears yet again.
During his first audition, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house as he performed a powerful piece of dancing despite having one of his legs amputated due to cancer.
Refusing to let up, he was determined to live out his ambition, which resulted in him receiving a BGT first when all four judges hit the golden buzzer for him.
He presented his narrative via dance again to close tonight’s semi-final, and the audience had to be instructed to settle down because they were clapping and whooping so loudly.
‘This is for all of you,’ Musa told them.
The Britain’s Got Talent semi-finals continue all this week on ITV1 and ITVX.
