The live semi-finals of Britain’s Got Talent are about ti begin, with five nights of spectacular acts scheduled on ITV.
The greatest part is that you can be the judge, with public voting determining which BGT contestants advance to the final and, eventually, who wins the entire programme.
As the concerts begin tonight (Monday, May 29), you may be wondering how you can vote to support your favourite act.
More information will be provided during the programme, but for the time being, here is all you need to know.
It should be quite simple…
How to vote in the Britain’s Got Talent 2023 semi-finals
Vote for your favourite act(s) in the Britain’s Got Talent semi-finals to help them advance to the final.
You may vote by phone or online on the ITV website.
Each competitor will be allocated a phone number beginning with the digits ’09’.
They will also be given a shortened phone number or ‘dial code,’ which you may use if you call from a mobile phone.
These numbers will be shown during the performance, and it will be evident when the phone lines are available for voting. To vote, all you have to do is dial the number.
Either method will not be inexpensive; each call will cost 50p plus your network’s access charge.
Happily, though, 15p from each call goes to the Royal Variety Charity, according to ITV’s voting T&Cs.
There is a free way to vote, too, through the ITV website’s Britain’s Got Talent voting page.
To vote this manner, you must first register your cellphone number on ITV’s website, but you will receive five free votes once you have done so.
Of course, you can’t vote until the show announces that voting is open, which will most likely be after all of the contenders have performed in their semi-finals.
Do you want to show your support for your favourite band? Wait for the announcement during the show, then start clicking!
To vote, you must be a resident of the United Kingdom, the Channel Islands, or the Isle of Man.
And, of course, you’ll need the bill payer’s permission to vote by phone, as the calls aren’t free.
