In tonight’s episode of Love Island 2023, the contestants are going to be in for a massive shock when a celebrity from Britain’s Got Talent moves in with them in the villa.
Throughout the past few weeks, there has been plenty of drama in the villa. Most recently, Will Young has been trying to win back Jessie Wynter after admitting that he was unfaithful to her while she was away in Casa Amor. This is the most recent example of the drama that has occurred in the island.
Tanya Manhenga appears to still have feelings towards Shaq Muhammad, despite the fact that she has brought Martin Akinola back to the main villa with her. This is despite the fact that she brought Martin back with her.
So, there is no better moment than the present for the residents of the island to let their hair down and provide a performance worthy of an all-star cast.
Tonight, one of the most recognisable stars from the previous season of America’s Got Talent is going to make a surprise appearance, and world-renowned DJ Jax Jones will also be in attendance.
Calum Scott, a musician, sprang to fame in 2015 after he sang an emotionally gripping cover of Robyn’s song “Dancing On My Own” on an ITV talent competition. His performance moved audiences all across the country.
Later on the latest episode of Love Island, Will will receive a text that reads: ‘Islanders it’s time to get glam because tonight the Villa will host a special VIP performer! #ThisIsReal #OutOut.’
Tom Clare is attempting to anticipate which performer will turn up, and he succeeds to hit the nail on the head by correctly predicting that Jax will be there.
After a performance that brings the house down, Jax blows everyone away by announcing that he has a surprise up his sleeve and inviting Calum to join them as their special guest.
But, that won’t be the only thing that steals the show throughout the course of the evening.
In the middle of the night, one of the islanders makes a proclamation that they have a statement to make; who could it be, and what do they have to say?
Despite the fact that Calum was a fan favourite on Britain’s Got Talent, he ended up placing sixth overall.
In spite of this, he has gone on to gain success in the music industry. He capitalised on the success of his Dancing On My Own cover by releasing his own version of the song as a single in the year 2016.
It reached its highest position on the charts in the UK at number two and went on to become the summer’s best-selling single overall.
Love Island returns tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
