Amanda Holden, a judge on Britain’s Got Talent, attracted backlash from fans after calling out’snowflakes’ who may have been upset during a comedy routine.
Notorious, Dylan B., Toy Toy Toy, Markus Birdman, Miki Dark, Harry Churchill, Travis George, and Ghetto Kids were among the performers performing tonight.
During his performance, comic Markus strayed towards the edgier side, making jokes about his 13-year-old daughter playing a ‘lady of the night’ in a play.
‘Any women here?’ he said.
‘I no longer make jokes at the expense of women, which is a shame, because I had some really good ones.’
He continued: ‘Dreams are like children, if you follow them too long, people get very suspicious.’
Amanda blasted her co-star and several of the audience members who appeared to reject Markus’ performance after judge Simon Cowell pressed his buzzer for Markus.
She said: ‘For all the snowflakes and all the wokery and everything else that’s out there, I applaud you because this is the way forward, not the other way.’
Viewers were caught aback by Amanda’s clap, with several pleading for the phrase to be removed from the ‘ITV lexicon.’
One person wrote: ‘Someone please take the word woke away from Amanda Holden, Piers Morgan & GB News. I’m begging you….’

‘Amanda proving again people who use “woke” as a pejorative don’t know what it means,’ another added.
This follows her allegation in her eulogy to the late Paul O’Grady that he was “not woke.”
‘You know what I loved about him, he was not woke in any way,’ Amanda began, before Jamie chimed in and agreed: ‘Nope, that’s for sure.’
She continued: ‘He had massive opinions on everything, which I love people like that. Really, really funny. Very witty, bitingly sharp. Everything that came out of his mouth was brilliant, and I absolutely adored him.’
This confused fans of O’Grady, as one accused Amanda of ‘utterly misjudging Paul’s legacy’.
‘That would be the drag artist, AIDS campaigner, LGBTQ+ hero and anti austerity critic Paul O’Grady. Ffs,’ one person Tweeted.
Another said: ‘I can’t work out whether she doesn’t know what woke means, or simply doesn’t know who Paul O’Grady is.’
Britain’s Got Talent returns tomorrow at 9pm on ITV.
