Caleb Willingham, well known as Tammy Slaton’s 1000-Lb Sisters husband, has died at the age of 40.
Shirley Willingham, his stepmother, verified the news to TMZ.
His death cause has not been revealed.
Willingham was a popular character on the US TV programme and made multiple appearances.
He met Slaton, 36, in an Ohio rehabilitation centre last year while they were both undergoing weight reduction treatment.
Willingham proposed in October, and they married a month later.
They divorced after only five months of marriage.
Slaton was discharged from the rehab centre in February after undergoing weight loss surgery, which Willingham was not yet qualified for.
After Slaton returned to Kentucky, the pair gradually drifted apart, with suspicions circulating that they had split up.
Willingham tweeted a cryptic message in April suggesting to a breakup, before it was confirmed in May that they were no longer together.
Slaton is believed to have moved on with a younger man, TikToker Greg Morgan, 25, from Indiana.
Slaton, a TLC star, has yet to react on her ex-husband’s death.
Willingham’s younger brother has subsequently published a Facebook tribute to him.
His post read: ‘I can’t believe I’m even making this post, but today GOD called my big brother home.
‘R.I.P. Caleb Willingham aka Killla K aka Double K aka one-half of the dynamic WWF tag team champions The W Boys aka my biggest supporter in anything I do.
‘You will be forever loved and missed. Until we meet again.’
His friend also penned a sweet tribute: ‘I still can’t believe it’s real. I’ve been crying all day. I already miss him so much. I know he’s up there rejoicing with your mom and pop, though, and I have to be happy for him for that.’
‘Prayers to you, Tammy, and all his friends and family,’ said another on the Facebook post.
‘Rest in eternal peace, Caleb Willingham,’ said a 1000-pound Sisters fan page. ‘Please accept my heartfelt sympathies to Tammy, your family, and Caleb’s family.’
