Calvin Harris made a dig at Simon Cowell, mocking the music mogul’s cosmetic surgery.
DJ Calvin, 39, has a tremendous hit repertoire and has returned with a brand new single Desire featuring Sam Smith.
On Thursday night, the singer went on The One Show to promote his comeback to the charts, and he seized the chance to take a shot at X Factor judge Simon Cowell.
Calvin told Alex Jones and Roman Kemp that he once stayed in a hotel in Switzerland and became hungry soon after arriving, so he decided to examine the room service menu.
Instead of meals, the room service menu included cosmetic procedures like as botox, boob jobs, and brow lifts.
Jokingly asked if he had partaken in any treatments, the Scottish musician replied: ‘I walked out of there looking like Simon Cowell.’
Simon has been outspoken about taking cosmetic fillers and botox in previous years, but recently quit after admitting his eight-year-old son Eric was in ‘hysterics’ over it.
When it comes to jokes about his previous procedures, he has a reasonably decent sense of humour, with Ant and Dec joking about his ‘new face’ ahead of the most recent series of Britain’s Got Talent.
The father-of-one told The Sun that he’might have gone a little too far’ with the procedures, prompting his son to taunt him.
‘I saw a picture of me from before the other day, and didn’t recognise it as me first of all. Eric was in hysterics. Enough was enough,’ he said.
He added: ‘There is no filler in my face at all now. Zero. There was a phase where everyone was having their faces pumped full of this and the other.’
Calvin, on the other hand, is extremely busy, from releasing new singles to preparing his wedding to Vick Hope.
The couple is deliberately discreet, not even announcing whether or not they are engaged, despite Vick wearing a £1 million ring after only five months of dating.
