TalkTV opted not to re-air an interview with Graham Linehan in which he expressed anti-transphobic sentiments.
On Wednesday night, the Father Ted writer, 55, stumbled when questioned by Uncensored host Rosanna Lockwood, who was filling in for Piers Morgan.
The creator of The IT Crowd made stunning accusations regarding the trans community during the broadcast and repeatedly spoke over Rosanna.
Linehan increased his voice when Rosanna interfered to tell him he was straying from the topic of conversation, to which he shouted, ‘Don’t lecture me.’
After seeing the TalkTV show, trans TV personality and reporter India Willoughby stated on X, now known as Twitter, that the broadcaster “completely exposed” Linehan as a “filthy lunatic transphobe.”

However, Linehan’s interview was not repeated in the later slot and is not now available on YouTube, where most TalkTV broadcasts are streamed.

After learning Linehan would be performing a stand-up act, Edinburgh Fringe venue Leith Arches stated earlier this week that it would no longer hold a Comedy Unleashed show.

Later, Linehan told TalkTV’s Julia Hartley-Brewer that he would explore ‘legal action’ against Leith Arches for cancelling the event.
Linehan was banned from Twitter in 2020 for breaching its abusive behaviour guidelines with comments on trans people, but was reinstalled with Donald Trump in Elon Musk’s takeover.
Linehan has previously linked trans children to “Nazi experimentation” and trans rights advocacy to “evil.”
